Rally lets you reserve a spot at a meetup by placing a refundable commitment deposit. When you attend and check in, your deposit is returned in full. If you do not show up, your deposit is forfeited and redistributed to the attendees who did, less a service fee.

Deposits & refunds

A deposit is a hold on funds you have added to your Rally balance. You reclaim it by attending. Withdrawals of your balance to a bank account are processed by our regulated payments partner, subject to identity verification and minimum amounts.
